Final Major Creative Project Recital 

Rohan Singh Bansal (electronics and keyboard)

Project Title: An exploration into the use of electronic samples/synthesisers by experimenting with different sound worlds and improvised piano repertoire. 

Rohan has focused his research on investigating the use of sampling and looping electronic sounds through improvisation. In conjunction with this he has also explored the use of different sound worlds combined with contemporary piano performance. Therefore, his final recital aims to demonstrate the various skills and improvisational techniques he has learnt over the past year. 

Various tracks in his recital will focus on different ways of looping electronic samples and foley sounds, working with oscillating synth waves as well using various soundscapes to portray a moving performance using electronics and a keyboard.
