Recent data shows that roughly 58 million children between the ages 6-11 are not enrolled in school. Sir Michael Barber, the Chief Education Adviser to Pearson and Head of Delivery Unit for the Blair government asks what it would take to get every child into school and learning. He also considers the role the private sector might have in achieving this.
