Staff Profile

Gail is Senior Operations Manager for the Academic Hub. Based in the Executive and Governance Office, Gail leads Academic Hub Operations and the organisational and administrative functions for all units within the Academic Hub. Gail provides guidance and assistance to the Registrar in the governance of the University’s top level academic management processes and leads the Hub’s approach to budget planning and people processes.

Gail also oversees the management of the King’s Gate Building and is a business lead on the King's Gate Enablement project.

Gail has a background in recruitment and has worked at Newcastle University for a number of years in a range of units including; People Services, Faculty of Medical Sciences and Student Services.

Gail is a qualified project manager and business process improvement advocate and has delivered a range of student focused and change management projects at Newcastle University.

MA (Hons) English Language and Literature, Glasgow University
