ncept:
re are two main concepts in my design, communication and di-
tion. The residents are not family and are, instead, unrelat-
strangers. So a special technique in both its management and its
ce becomes necessary for complete strangers to continue natural-
to share spaces with one another. As we can see, this is quite a
row site, According to the shared house in Japan, so the solution
this space has divided this house into three blocks with differ-
height levels to accommodate different buildings functions. These
ces are then connected bu courtyard acting as transition and com-
ication space; bringing light and natural ventilation through-
the site. The courtyard area is the design solution to this nar-
site and performed as flexible space to provide light, shade,
, shelter, privacy and communication. This courtyard can be a
ural exhibition as well for photographer and pottery artist ‘s
ks. This is the first space you come in when you through the en-
nce and turn right. In this courtyard, you can go everywhere if
want, such as turn right go to living and dining room, or turn
ht go to kitchen and pottery studio, this gives you a direction
come through this house, it can give you an option for walking.
