Jesmond
Jesmond is a popular

Jesmond Dene
A haven from the bustle
of the city, this large and
popular park stretches for
three kilometres through
Newcastle. On a sunny day,

Jesmond and you’ll find

Take the lift to the top to

way back down through

Bridges
After lunch, walk west
towards the Tyne Bridge
and enjoy the architecture.
Seven bridges span the
river within half a mile here,
creating an unmistakable
vista.

Blinking eye
Cross the river via the
Millennium Bridge, known
as the ‘blinking eye’.
You can get a river cruise
from here if you’d like to
take a trip up the Tyne.

Further along the Quayside,
towards the east, is the
Ouseburn area. Home to the
Biscuit Factory art gallery,
live music venues, a city
farm and several art studios,
it is a hub of arts and
cultural activity.
