Our test facilities range from simple component testing to complete gearbox system tests, including:
- single tooth bending fatigue testing in the 5x103 to 107 cycle range using electromagnetic resonance machines
- very low cycle single tooth bending fatigue testing (<5x103 cycles) using an electromechanical universal testing mchine
- very high cycle fatigue testing (107 to 1010 cycles) using a 20kHz ultrasonic testing machine
- back-to-back contact fatigue and scuffing testing using mechanical power recirculating test rigs
- micropitting test rig (MPR) using simple roller and ring samples
- full system tests using electrical power recirculating test rigs (>1MW)
- lubrication testing, with adjustable flow and temperature
- efficiency testing: gear mesh losses, gear windage losses, bearing power losses
- bearing life testing
- noise and vibration analysis
- torsional fatigue testing
- high speed image capture
