Background
As a Digital Content Editor, I update and develop the following websites in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HaSS):
- School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences (ECLS)
- School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics (SELLL)
- School of Modern Languages (SML)
- Newcastle Law School (Law)
- HaSS Faculty
Experience
I started my career at Newcastle University in 2012. Over the next 10 years I worked in a few different areas including:
- student services
- widening participation
- internal communications
In 2022 I joined the Civil Service where I developed my knowledge of user research. I love working on ways to improve the user experience for all users of digital services.
I couldn’t stay away for long and came back to the University in July 2024, joining the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

BA Honours in Psychology, Newcastle University
MSc Health Psychology, Northumbria University
