Communicating, listening and engaging with our students has never been more important. As the Student Experience Manager in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, I am responsible for leading cultural and practical change projects in the faculty that focus on communication, integration and engagement between colleagues in the faculty, schools and our students.

I also provide strategic support to the Deans of Education and Postgraduate Studies in the delivery of their strategic priorities. I am responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a number of major work strands to address key priorities to improve student experience with a particular focus on developing effective communications across our academic community to support active student engagement.
