Background

I am Communications Manager for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Newcastle University. My role is to highlight the strengths and activities of the Faculty to both an internal and external audience. I manage and implement a Faculty Communications Strategy and Plan to do this, and use a range of channels to reach our audiences. 

I have over 10 years experience in marketing and communications, working in both HE and non-HE organisations.

My academic background is in modern languages (French and Spanish), and I completed my MA Gender Studies at Newcastle University. More recently I completed Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I volunteer as a counsellor one day a week.
