Staff Profile

I am the Faculty Education and Governance Officer and I joined the HaSS Faculty Office in May 2024. I work alongside the rest of the HaSS Education Team to provide support and facilitate the coordination of a wide range of education related processes across the Faculty. I provide guidance to academic and professional services staff in relation to education and quality assurance policies and the annual Module and Regulation Approval Process. Along with Education responsibilities, I also provide secretarial support for the Faculty Executive Board, HaSS Faculty Office Liaison Group & NUShape Strategic Approval Group.

Prior to this role, I previously worked as the Education Coordinator in the HCA Learning and Teaching team. I have also working in the Exams and Awards, GPS and Engineering. I have been at the University since July 2018 and I predominantly have a background in Learning and Teaching having worked in L&T roles for almost 16 years at Newcastle and at another institution. 

I have a degree in BA Leadership and Management which I completed in 2018.
