History Prize Winners
- Charlotte Maybury - Transnational History Prize. Awarded for meritorious work by a student in their final examinations in transnational history.
- Charlotte Stobart - W.L. Burn Prize. Awarded to the student in second or final year whose work shows greatest merit. In memory of William Laurence Burn.
- Daniel Makepeace - M. Gallagher Prize. Awarded for the best dissertation written by a BA (Hons) History student.
- Edith Graves - Catherine Mackichan Prize. Awarded for meritorious work by a final year student, preferably in the field of medieval history.
- Elizabeth Green - Politics & History 3rd Year Prize. Awarded for the best overall performance by a Politics and History student in the final year of their degree.
- Emily Halsall - Freemans Prize. Awarded for the best essay on the history of Newcastle-upon-Tyne or the surrounding region.
- Ginny Harris - Mrs J. Taylor Prize. Awarded for an excellent performance in examinations, preferably in the European history field, in commemoration of the service of Joan Taylor.
- Grace Tallentire - Henry Croucher Memorial Prize. Awarded for meritorious coursework, continually assessed as part of their final examinations in History.
- James Henderson - Margaret Butler Prize. Awarded to the best dissertation or piece of submitted work.
- Lucy Thompson - Henry Croucher Memorial Prize. Awarded for meritorious work in examinations in the field of modern British History.
- Mya Wallis - Henry Croucher memorial Prize. Awarded for meritorious work in examinations in the field of American History.
- Nimrod Cummins - Joseph Cowen Memorial Fund. Awarded for an outstanding essay in Modern History at Stage 3.
- Sophie Oldroyd - Asian History Prize. Awarded for meritorious work by a student in their final examinations in Asian History.
Classics and Ancient History Prize Winners
- Caitlin Clyde - Junior Johnson Prize. Awarded for an outstanding performance in final degree results.
- Caitlin Stringfellow - Shipley Prize. Awarded to the student with the best performance in Ancient History at Stage 3.
- Dylan Chattle - Gertrude Bell Prize. Awarded for an exceptional contribution to Classics at Newcastle.
- Olivia Hass - Senior Johnson Prize. Awarded to a student with outstanding final degree results in Classics degree programmes.
- Jemimah Allen - Gertrude Bell Prize. Awarded for an exceptional contribution to Classics at Newcastle.
Archaeology Prize Winners
- Amy Searle - Gertrude Bell Prize. Awarded for an exceptional contribution to Archaeology.
- Alexander Ball - The Ray Field Award for Prehistory. Awarded for the best performance in prehistory.
- Megan Warriner - The Fred Bettess memorial Prize. Awarded to a student who has made a notable contribution to archaeological fieldwork, in memory of Fred Bettess.
- Remy Garvey - R.M. Harrison Prize. Awarded to the student with the best dissertation, in commemoration of Professor Martin Harrison.
- Samuel Blee - The Gladys Bettess memorial Prize. Awarded to the best student in the final year of the BA (Hons) Archaeology programme, in memory of Gladys Bettess.
