Staff Profiles

Background:

I am a Technician in the Wolfson Archaeology Lab at Newcastle University.  My research interests include archaeometallurgy, archaeomineralogy and ancient glass objects and production technology. I am especially interested in the archaeology of the Roman period and have worked as a finds supervisor for many seasons on excavation projects in Pompeii and Portus in Italy, as well as on sites in the UK.
