School Research Manager

Background

I am the School Research Manager and joined the University in 2014. I worked in Grants and Contracts as a Grants Administrator before joining HCA in 2016.  

 

I oversee the research activity within the school which includes 

  • Supporting colleagues with the submission of research applications including advising on costing projects, funder policy, University policy and monitoring the internal approval process. 
  • Supporting research awards including overseeing the set-up of awards, monitoring the project budgets, advising on the procurement process and providing project financial reports as required. 
  • Supporting the school's overall research strategy and REF process by collating data and providing reports & analysis of the school's application & awards. 
  • I can provide advice and assistance to colleagues who wish to apply for grants or have been awarded a research grant.
