Staff Profiles

I am currently working as the Community Geologist for the Hadrian's Wall Community Archaeology Project. This will give an opportunity to work with volunteers to understand how geological material used in Hadrian's Wall has been reused in post Roman structures. It also gives and reason to explore the landscape and sources of the Roman Wall material with the volunteers and to develop a more rigorous understanding of how archaeological a geological data can be combined to understand provenance both in its archaeological and geological sense.
