Staff Profiles

I am the PA within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology and provide support to Annie Tindley, Head of School; Graham Smith, Deputy Head of School and Lottie Garrett, School Manager. In addition to this, I maintain the School’s Business Diary and provide diary and administrative assistance to the Heads of History, Classics and Archaeology and the School’s Executive Board. I am first point of contact for staff reporting in sick and I monitor and record annual leave and leave of absence requests, handle paperwork associated with visiting staff and assist in staff recruitment from post approval to appointment. As Deputy Health and Safety Officer I assist with risk assessments and act as the School’s DSE assessor. 

Prior to joining HCA in January 2022, I worked as a court clerk within Newcastle Civil and Family Courts and Tribunals Centre, before joining one of the leading sets of barristers’ chambers in the North of England as a barristers’ clerk. I graduated from Newcastle University in 2015 with a BA in History.
