Five Newcastle University students and graduates have been shortlisted in this year’s North East Emerging Artist Award, based at the National Trust’s Seaton Delaval Hall.
Newcastle University is a partner in a project which is revitalising the nine-mile outdoor trail between Gateshead town centre and the Derwent Valley.
Work has begun on the final season of a long-term programme at the Roman fort of Birdoswald, on the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site.
