Student Internships

Thanks to the partnership with International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, the University offers students the opportunity to carry out internships either in person or virtually. Each internship is hosted by one of the Coalition's member sites around the world.

The first internships were launched in Spring 2021, when students worked with the coalition staff on a range of projects.

In 2022, there were 11 virtual and 7 in-person internships, carried out with participating organisations around the world on projects relating to human rights, justice and equality.

In 2023, students worked on in-person and virtual internships with organisations such as The Ulster Museum in Belafast, Northern Ireland, The War Childhood Museum in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Youth for Peace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Zagreb, Croatia.
