Registration

Automatic Registration

For some degree programmes, we provide subject-specific writing modules on which students are automatically registered.

To check whether your degree programme has a subject-specific writing module, you can view this list: Degree Programmes with Automatic Registration.

If your degree programme has a subject-specific writing module, you will receive an email at the start of the start of the semester with the details of the class you are registered for.

Self Registration

You will need to register yourself for any sessions that you wish to attend, except the subject specific writing courses, where you will be registered by your school.

(See list above)

Book a one to one writing tutorial

Automatic Registration

With our one to one writing tutorials you have the option to conduct the tutorial in-person (face to face) or online, using either Zoom or Teams.

How do I book a one to one writing tutorial?

  • Book via our Registration for In-Sessional English (RISE) platform
  • The teacher will email you to ask you to send them:
    • the assignment you would like to discuss
    • the assignment brief that your School has provided
    • confirmation of whether you would like the tutorial in-person (face to face) or online
  • You must provide this information at least 24 working hours before your tutorial. If you do not do this, the tutorial will unfortunately not take place
