Our campus in Singapore is home to the Newcastle Research and Innovation Institute (NewRIIS). We deliver our degree programmes in partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technology, including Engineering.

English language and visa requirements
If your first language isn't English you will generally need an IELTS score of 6.5, or equivalent, to study at Newcastle University. Some courses have different requirements, so please check the course you want to study.

You will have the opportunity to build relationships with other students from around the world. We have over 200 societies and sports clubs that you can join including the Singapore society.
The International Society brings together students of different nationalities. This can help you to settle into the local environment and promotes cultural diversity on our campus.
