Cabinet Office (2015-16) Evaluation of the Ways to Wellness Ltd. Social Impact Bond

Led by Dr Suzanne Moffatt from Institute of Health and Society, Newcastle University, who are carrying out the evaluation of the link workers part of the intervention. Professor Rob Wilson is Co-Investigator of a project carrying out the process evaluation strand of a Social Impact Bond-funded programme based in Newcastle called Ways to Wellness.
The work being carried out by KITE members (Dr Toby Lowe, Dr Jane Gibbon, Dr Jonathan Kimmitt and Professor Mike Martin) will look at the programme delivery from the perspective of stakeholders including:
- the Cabinet Office
- management consultants who have worked on the development of the SIB
- social investors (including Big Lottery Fund)
- other provider organisations
- Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group
The process evaluation activity will examine the following inter-relationships and interdependencies between the stakeholders and the process of building the mechanisms. This includes the SIB and setting/revising objectives between the stakeholders including the SIB investors and the impact of the Ways to Wellness Social Impact Bond business model on its delivery mechanisms.
