Background
In 2016, I was appointed as a Lecturer in Innovation at Newcastle University Business School, following a tenure as a Lecturer in Education at Durham University. Prior to my academic career, I worked for several years of experience in the field of technology development within the EdTech sector. My focus was on discerning user needs and experiences, developing innovative tools, and facilitating their integration into practice.
My academic interests are broad, encompassing technology development, enhancement of student practices for independent learning, and the dynamics of technology adoption and innovation across various professional learning environments.
In August 2023 I was promoted to Senior Lecturer.
I was previously the DPD of the N500 undergraduate BSc Marketing, I successfully managed this programme for three years and working with colleagues and students this programme achieved a 93% NSS satisfaction rating.
