A committee considered my funding application. An emphasis was me having a Master's, including dissertation and overall score.
I would never have come this far had Newcastle not given me such an opportunity. I experienced the unforgettable warm hospitality from the Toon. I also had a fascinating and inspiring learning environment in the University throughout.
Despite all the interesting modules, it was the Intellectual Property Module that intrigued. My PhD's ‘The Statutory Ground of Public Interest Defence in International Copyright Regime’.
