Founded in 1927 as a Roman Catholic School, Tilburg University has grown into a multi-disciplinary university. Boasting almost 20, 000 students, the university host over 600 incoming exchange students.

Considered a historically and industrially important city for the Dutch textile industry, Tilburg is today known as a university city.
