Staff Facilitator Network

NEW: A vision for education and skills at Newcastle University: Education for Life 2030+

Staff Facilitator Network

The Student Voice Forum has been replaced with a new initiative, the Staff Facilitator Network.

This network will bring together Staff Facilitators, student voice champions in your Schools (perhaps your DOE or DPD would like to join, for example), Student Rep staff from the Students' Union and key members of staff from the University, based in Educational Policy and Governance Service (EPGS) and the Learning Teaching Development Service (LTDS). The idea is to bring together colleagues who support the running of SSCs around the University, and key people who can support you in your role. Joe Barton and Laura Callaghan will chair these meetings and be on hand to answer your questions, give advice and facilitate discussions around best practice and common challenges.

Student Voice activities include - student representation and staff student committees, informal mid-module check-ins, internal and external surveys including the National Student Survey (NSS), Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES), and Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES).
