Dr. Victor Pacheco-Peña’s research featured in Light Science and Applications

Dr. Victor Pacheco-Peña, Newcastle University Research Fellow (NURF), in collaboration with Professor Nader Engheta from the University of Pennsylvania (USA), recently had their Temporal aiming paper published as the cover story in nature journal Light Science and Applications
The paper was published in the journal's December 2020 special edition - Topological photonics and beyond: novel concepts and recent advances - edited by Prof Zhigang Chen (San Francisco State University, USA), Prof Hrvoje Buljan (University of Zagreb, Croatia) and Dr Daniel Leykam (National University of Singapore).
In the paper Dr Pacheco-Peña and Professor Engheta showed a way to control the direction of electromagnetic waves in real time by using temporal metamaterials, what's referred to in the paper as “Temporal aiming”.
