I am currently a Lecturer in Pure Mathematics. Before coming to Newcastle, I was a Marie Curie Fellow for two years at the University of Glasgow, and before that, I was an NSERC Banting Fellow with Queen Mary, University of London. I completed my PhD in April 2020 at the University of Victoria, in BC, Canada.
I am very interested in supervising students. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in doing postgraduate research (especially a PhD) or a postdoc. I especially welcome interested students from under-represented groups in mathematics to reach out!
I work in operator algebras. My research lies at the intersection of operator algebras, topological dynamics, and algebraic number theory. My of my work concerns C*-algebras arising from algebraic number fields, semigroups, groups, or algebraic actions.
