Staff Profile
I am Research Associate in Statistics working on designing objective prior distributions for Bayesian Additive Regression Trees models with Dr Kevin Wilson. Before, I did my PhD at the University of Edinburgh regarding earthquake modelling and forecasting.
My research interests are in the field of Bayesian statistics. I am mostly interested in objective bayesian methods, modelling of natural phenoma with a strong spatio-temporal component, approximate bayesian methods, especially using the Integrated Nested Laplace Approximation (INLA), point process models, self-exciting processes, validation of point process forecasts. In general, I am really interested in applications to modelling and forecasting of natural events, so if you wish to collaborate don't hesitate to drop me an email.
