Francesca Caloro
Francesca's research interest is in symmetries and their breaking. Their PhD research is focused on momentum-space conformal field theory (CFT) and its application in holographic cosmology
About
I graduated with a MSc in Theoretical Physics from Università del Salento, Lecce (Italy). I worked on the chiral spontaneous symmetry breaking, a phenomenon which is at the base of baryonic mass generation. I'm currently a postgraduate researcher in Applied Mathematics in the cosmology group and in my free time, I'm a pianist!
Project Description
My PhD project is focused on momentum-space conformal field theory (CFT) and its application in holographic cosmology. The aim is to find a novel geometric description of momentum-space CFT. In general, I am interested in symmetries and their breaking.
