Project Title
'Representation Theory of Non-graded, Non-restricted Modular Lie algebras'
About
I started my PhD in Newcastle in September 2017, under Dr David Stewart.
Project Description
Conducted independent research into the representation theory of a certain special family of Hamiltonian Lie algebras (H(2r,n) and their filtered deformations), which only exist over fields of positive characteristic. Employed a variety of computational and theoretical tools to classify the module structure of all such p-representations. Used the computer algebra system GAP to assist in conjecture, verification and low-characteristic and low-dimensional settings.
