Project Description
The focus of my PhD is on the representation theory of quantum symmetric pairs. More specifically, I am looking at classifying the irreducible finite-dimensional representations of a non-standard quantised universal enveloping algebra of semisimple complex Lie algebras.
In particular, I am considering quantum symmetric pair coideal subalgebras corresponding to maximally split involutive automorphisms.
Research Interests
I am a pure mathematics PhD student and consider myself purely an algebraist. My main interests are in representation theory, Lie algebras, quantum groups and combinatorics.
Education
I graduated in 2018 with a first class masters degree in mathematics at the University of York. My final year project involved studying irreducible representations of the symmetric inverse monoid.
