Clinical academic careers

 In the School of Medicine, we supervise medical trainees in the Northern Academic Foundation Programme and NIHR Integrated Academic Training pathways.

These programmes allow trainees to progress their academic interests alongside their clinical training.    

We promote a learner-centred approach. We encourage trainees to develop projects in their own areas of interest.
