Making AI work for you: 60-minute industry insights

AI and machine learning is making an ever-increasing impact across a variety of industries including improving work efficiency, streamlining processes and driving innovation.

However, there is also a growing concern around job security and disruption, with some industries being more at risk than others.

Our 60-minute industry insight sessions aim to provide alumni working in those industries an opportunity to share thoughts and experiences whilst gaining new ideas and a fresh perspective.

The programme will aim to match you with another Newcastle University graduate working in the same industry to discuss how AI and technology is affecting the career landscape and any insight, wisdom, and tips you can share.

• What are your biggest concerns about the future of the industry?
• How can our alumni work together to address those concerns?

We would like you to provide your insight into the industry, how your business is adopting and leveraging the power of AI, ideas on what skills are becoming increasingly necessary, new career paths opening and how making connections and networks could change.

We’re looking for alumni in the industries below to join an industry insight session with a fellow graduate as part of this year’s NCL in Action.
