Support students at our School of Computing

The School of Computing is looking for expressions of interest from alumni who would be willing to support students in the following ways throughout semester 2: 

• Speed networking - we are seeking alumni who would be willing to attend a small networking event to provide insights into their profession and offer our postgraduate students a safe environment to practice their networking skills.  

• Supporting Career sessions including: 

• ‘How to build a UX/UI portfolio’  

• Reviewing and providing feedback on student portfolios and CVs  

• Technical interview prep  

• Co-delivery of sessions on CVs/Cover Letters, LinkedIn, Networking and Job search strategies  

Who is eligible to get involved?

Expressions of interest are welcome from alumni working in the following fields: 

• Cyber  

• Cloud  

• UX/UI 

• AI and Data Science  

• Tech Start-Ups  

• Software Development
