Collaboration

In collaboration with the Research Support Service Hub delivered by Newcastle University and Partners, we provide practical advice on study design for applications to NIHR and other national peer-reviewed funding programmes.

Requests

Requests for advice should be directed through the Research Support Service Hub

Following receipt of a request for advice, an NCTU adviser may attend an initial consultation meeting with the researcher. Should further support be required with a view to an application for funding, and where this is in alignment with NCTU Strategic objectives, a member of the NCTU team will be assigned as the primary contact to support the proposed study moving forward.

Other requests

For those research proposals that do not fit within the remit of the RDS NENC, NCTU welcomes direct contact from potential investigators who are keen to develop clinical trials in collaboration with industry partners.

Please email nctu-enquiries@ncl.ac.uk to enquire.

For academic collaboration the NCTU must be approached at the grant application stage, ideally 4 months in advance of the submission deadline.

In order for NCTU to provide a high level of service, we regret that we cannot accommodate proposals submitted to us close to the submission deadline.
