Background
Introduction
I have worked for the University since 1991, in the fields of health and nutrition. Mainly involved in human intervention studies, but also in tissue culture experiments and the resulting laboratory analysis including use of HPLC, GC, GC-MS, Pentra automated spectrophotometer, qPCR, Elementar Macro CUBE and ELISA.
I am now SAgE Faculty Analytical Facilities Manager, overseeing the Faculty Nexus, Powder and Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction, SEM and Transient Absorption Spectroscopy and Microscopy facilities and SNES's Chemical and Environmental mass spectrometry facilities and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility.
