Background
I originally joined Newcastle University in 2010 as an apprentice Laboratory Technician, upon completion I was recruited for a full-time Laboratory technician in the what was the School of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (now School of Natural and Environmental Science - SNES). After serving as a senior technician in both Chemical engineering and Analytics, I now hold the position of School Health and Safety officer within SNES.
