Research Support and Funding
There are many ways we can help humanities researchers develop their projects
How we can help
We prioritise new and emerging ideas that are truly interdisciplinary in scope, collaborative in their approach and challenge the limits of existing research agendas.
We support these activities through the pathways detailed below: Institutes Research Fund; Challenge Lab Co-Research; Faculty Research Groups (FRGs) and Networks.
In line with our one-community approach to scholarship, these funding pathways are open to all members of the university, at all career stages.
The funds enable Newcaste University members to convene workshops, host seminars or symposia, hold community-based events, work alongside student co-researchers, support professional development at all career stages.
We are always keen to have conversations with researchers about their ideas and discuss ways we might be able to help.
If you think we can help with your research ideas, please contact us.
