Induction Week
Monday 24th - Friday 28th June
PASS Induction Week will take place online via Canvas
It is completely optional and does not count towards your PARTNERS lowered offer. We do encourage you to participate in it as much as you are able.
On the first day of induction week, you will receive access to the PARTNERS Hub within Canvas. This is where you'll find: the HE skills module, the careers and employability module, the latest info on PASS social activities and your finalised timetable.
We will be hosting a variety of informal, interactive events during induction week to get you ready for PASS.
Monday 24th June
There are no live sessions on Monday. You will receive an email from us with your Newcastle University email address, password and Canvas login. This is a great opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with the platform and check your login details.
Once you've logged into Canvas, you can visit the PARTNERS Hub for:

The PARTNERS team hosted our 2024 PASS information webinar on Wednesday 8th May. If you didn't attend live, we highly recommend catching up on the recording and slides below so you are up to date with what to expect at the summer school. This is what we covered:
- important dates
- access information
- travel and accommodation
- details on how the blended delivery will run
- how to successfully complete the Summer School
- support available
We also ran a Q&A througout the event. We answered as many as we could live, but the rest have written answers which you can catch up on below.
If you still have unanswered questions about PASS after utilising the resources on this page, please get in touch.

Parents and carers event
We are hosting an event exclusive for parents, carers and guardians of confirmed PARTNERS students during PASS induction week. It will be hosted online via Zoom. You can join us live or catch up on the recording at a time that suits you.
What to expect
Coordinators of the PARTNERS programme will deliver a presentation on what the summer school will look like for your young person. This will include: the benefits of attending, how this feeds into their reduced offer and the next steps including results day and moving to University.
Colleagues from Newcastle University's Student Wellbeing Team will deliver a talk on the support available for students at Newcastle and also during the week of PASS.
We will round up with a live Q&A session to answer any remaining questions you have about the PARTNERS Academic Summer School.
Please sign up for this event below. Once registered, you'll be sent a link to join the webinar.
