Research Themes

Research in the School of Pharmacy is focuses on making real-world impact by conducting world-class multidisciplinary research to develop better treatments and improve the health of patients and the public.

Our research is grouped into three themes with associated areas of activity and is funded by UK Research Councils, European Government and Agencies, Medical charities and the Pharmaceutical industry. 

Distinct expertise underpins each of these themes, with strong cross-theme links to ensures delivery of our common goals and societal impact.
