About Us
The Preclinical In Vivo Imaging (PIVI) facility was established in 2013. Initially, it comprised of an optical in vivo imaging system. Since then, the facility has expanded to include additional imaging capabilities such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging, which is located at the Health Innovation Neighbourhood, and the SkyScan 1176 micro-CT system, situated at the heart of the Medical School.
The objective of PIVI is to provide expertise, training and state-of-the-art in vivo imaging modalities to conduct scientific research across different themes including radiochemistry, material sciences, physics, medical science and other research disciplines.
