The successful candidate will also receive one-to-one mentoring support from Professor Sharon Mavin, Director of Newcastle University Business School and an internationally-renowned expert in gender, leadership and organisation studies.
The scholarship has been launched to underline Newcastle University’s commitment to equality and diversity and coincides with the Business School celebrating 30 years of international accreditation for its MBA programme, highlighting its commitment to excellence in management education.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate high potential, an ambition for leadership and have at least three years professional experience as well as a strong academic record.
Professor Mavin said: “This Women in Leadership Scholarship has been created to empower women to excel in their career and become influential leaders who can drive change. This award will enable an exceptional businesswoman from the UK or Europe to develop the leadership and managerial skills required for success in an uncertain world.”
The Women in Leadership Scholarship is open to UK/EU candidates. Applications must be made by 31 August 2018. For more information and full eligibility criteria visit: www.ncl.ac.uk/business-school/courses/mba/
