Our research projects

Philanthropy and the Socioeconomic Development of Pakistan

The contribution of philanthropy, actual and potential, to socioeconomic development in less wealthy countries is under researched and under theorized. In this project, we examine the relationships between indigenous, diaspora and overseas philanthropy in supporting the growth and development of third sector organizations that fill conspicuous institutional voids in healthcare, education and microfinance.
