Advancing Gender Equality in Media Industries

This pan-European project led by Professor Karen Ross is co-funded by the EU Rights, Equality and Citizenship programme and Justice programme, 2017-2019.

Amongst its various aims is to develop forums in which the worlds of journalism, education and the media workplace can come together around the topic of advancing gender equality, providing opportunities for students and practitioners to learn from each other.

The project is currently (2018) developing a web platform which will include a Resources Bank of Good Practices from around the world, together with a set of teaching and learning resources which will be launched in 2019.
