Who we are

With over 30 years at Newcastle University, we're tackling the challenges facing museums, galleries and heritage sites worldwide.

Teaching and research are at the heart of what we do in Media, Culture Heritage. So whether you’re looking to break into the sector, skill-up, or want to explore - we have an option that’s right for you.

We offer three postgraduate programmes:

You can study each programme as an MA or PGDip. You can also study part-time (over 2 years) or full-time (1 year).
