You will graduate with the practical and transferable skills needed to pursue careers in the film, media, and creative industries.
Employability and skills development
We host regular screenings, talks, and presentations both at the University and in local cinemas, to help prepare you for a career in film.
The module Working in the Film Industry is an optional module for both degrees.
You’ll develop your understanding of working in the film industry by hearing from regular industry guests. You’ll grow your network and we’ll support you to build your career strategy.
Careers Service
The University's award-winning Careers Service provides creative industry and film-specific:
- advice and guidance
- workshops and events
- self-employment support
You also have the opportunity to take a placement year between Stage 2 and 3. This will develop your skills for a film career, supported by the Careers Service.
