I am PhD researcher focusing on digital media and politics. I have worked as a research assistant in Turkey for 3 years before starting my PhD in Newcastle.
My main interest is on how technology in general and digital media in particular is transforming human beings and societies in general and politics in particular. I like reading and writing on theories and philosophical investigations on this topic. My PhD is doing this analysis with a specific focus on Instagram as a platform and the US as a country. I also look at social and philosophical aspect of this political transformation.
Personal Interests: Philosophy, Cinema, and poetry.
