Paul is a PhD Film Practice student at Newcastle University and faculty member at Ningbo University. His award-winning documentaries have been recognized at prestigious festivals including the Grierson Awards, One World Media, Nice International Film Festival, and Bengaluru International Short Film Festival.
Project Decription:
Paul's PhD project uses documentary filmmaking to explore the identities of Chinese transnational families in Belgium. His work combines observational and participatory methods to capture the complex cultural identities within these families, focusing particularly on a family in Namur, Belgium.
