Richard Crulley
Head of Marketing and Communications
Richard Crulley is the Head of Marketing and Communications for the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE) at Newcastle University.
As a senior manager, he is a member of the Faculty Executive Board (FEB) and provides strategic direction to highlight our world-class academic experience, research excellence and business innovation.
Richard leads a team of talented professionals and oversees marketing for student recruitment and brand reputation, internal and external communications, alumni relations, events, global student recruitment, outreach and engagement.
Outside of work, Richard is a School Governor where he is Chair of the Finance and Staffing Committee, Chair of the Communications Committee and ensures GDPR compliance.
Richard is also a Mentor through the University’s established scheme to support colleagues with their career development.
