PhD opportunities and doctoral training are also available.
Support and development
We enrol all our postgraduate students in our Faculty Postgraduate Research Development Programme. The University Research Student Support Team will also support you during your studies. Together, we can provide structured support for your learning and development.
Our development programme will start by mapping your current skills against our Researcher Development Framework. This will form a Training Needs Analysis and help to create your Personal Development Plan. You and your supervisor will use this as a guide to focus on areas of personal growth.
PhD opportunities
Our fully funded PhD opportunities are available throughout our Faculty and across our four Newcastle schools.
Doctoral Training Centres
Our centres and researchers are tackling some of society’s biggest challenges. They’re helping design the cities of the future, enabling the transition from fossil fuels and developing new drugs to fight disease.
