About Combined Honours
We manage and support the BA in Combined Honours at Newcastle University, offering academic and pastoral guidance across our community of students.
A very warm welcome
We are a vibrant learning and teaching community, with over 50 years’ experience of delivering a multi-subject degree. We believe there are benefits and advantages of studying multiple subjects – from following your interests to preparing you for the modern workplace.
Staff and students working in partnership
Our friendly team of staff are assisted in their work by the Student-Staff Committee. This is a crucial partnership between Combined Honours staff and students. The Committee is student-led and includes representatives of each Stage of the degree. Its aim is to work together on key strategic activities such as:
- co-designing new modules
- enhancing the subject advisor and personal tutor system
- ensuring that Combined Honours students are included in all the activities and communities within academic subjects
